MATERNITY TO MOMMY & ME

My Best Bud!

In December of 2015 I traveled out to North Carolina to visit my best friend for the holiday season. I was twenty weeks pregnant with my son at the time. Being the awesome bestie and photographer that she is, Amy found the most beautiful park to capture my maternity photos at. I wanted a woodland- nature setting because we are very outdoorsy and I just love that style. The night before the photo shoot we over did ourselves shopping at Michael's Craft store. I had seen beautiful hand crafted head pieces for sale on different sites like Etsy but I am pretty crafty and wanted to design my own. We spent that night staying up late drinking hot cocoa and crafting! The weather in North Carolina that year was unusually warm for December (don't get me wrong it got chilly at sunset and my feet were in the freezing cold stream at some points).

This past December Bennan and I traveled out to visit Amy once again for the holiday season. I thought it would be so wonderful to go back to the same park where she had done my maternity photos the previous year and this time do a mommy and me photo shoot. This park visit was a completely different experience than the maternity photo shoot. It was FREEZING and started raining right when we pulled up in the parking lot. We made the best of it and had so much fun getting different shots of Bennan. He loved playing in the leaves and was a total trooper for mommy and Aunty! We are so blessed to have Aunty Amy in our life! We love our special visits! Thanks for the beautiful photos Amy!
