October SoCal Recap

Parker and I have a lot of family and friends that live in Southern California. Most of them had not met Bennan yet so we decided to take a little road trip before Parker started his new job! We traveled to Riverside, Orange County and Manhattan Beach. Our trip was short but sweet. Thank you to all of our family and friends for making time to visit with us!

We started the trip in Riverside where Parker's family lives. We always stay with his Granny Susie. Bennan is Granny Susie's first Great Grandchild. They got a long pretty well! Bennan enjoyed eating breakfast with her and playing with her dog and kitty. Granny was so sweet to host a family dinner for us.

While we were in Riverside we were able to have dinner with Gary, Jodi and their kids! Gary has always been a very important father figure in Parker's life. Gary and Jodi have three beautiful kids! So grateful to have them in our lives!

Uncle Chase and Nicole were able to join us for dinner as well! Chase got brave and held Bennan for the first time! He was a natural!

We spent the day in Costa Mesa and Newport Beach with our good friend Sara! Sara and I have been good friends for about nine years! It was so fun for her to meet Bennan!! We started our date off at lunch in Costa Mesa at ARC-SOCO Collection. We headed to Newport and played at the beach for a while then walked on the pier and enjoyed some milk shakes from Ruby's.

The following day we headed to Irvine to visit with our friends Ashley, Beto and their adorable son Jax! We met at this awesome park! It was such a beautiful day in Orange County! We had the best time meeting Jax and catching up! Wish we lived closer so we could have play dates all the time!

These two will be good buds someday!

Our last stop was Manhattan Beach to visit with my Uncle jon, Aunt Lulu, Cousin Kyle and Great Aunt Peggy! We had such a blast going to the beach! Bennan loved watching his cousin Kyle play in the sand. He also loved to watch the waves. We all went out to dinner at Rock'N Fish at the pier. Great food and fun atmosphere. Kyle loved showing Bennan all of his awesome Avenger costumes! I am sure the two of them will have so much fun when Bennan is a little older.

We had a fabulous time with everyone! Can't wait to make trips down that way more often! We are truly blessed to have such amazing friends and family! We love you all!
